The Fowlescombe Farm animated shorts will be a series of short scenes where animals featured on the farm get to enjoy the sites amenities, all while being waited on by human staff.

These scenes will be short, cute animations deriving appeal from the humorous role reversal of animals enjoying activities usually engaged in by humans.
The design aesthetic of these shorts will pull from classic media in order to craft a design that evokes nostalgic, peaceful feelings, tying back to childhood, and times when the audience were more in tune with nature.

One of the primary influences is classic literature about animals and the countryside. Series like the Peter Rabbit books, who's beautiful, hand drawn illustrations are a perfect encapsulation of that historic, classical feeling, and immediately bring to mind scenes of idyllic life on the farm.

The animation style draws from classic Disney films, with a focus on hand drawn, 2D illustrations and painterly backgrounds.

Although, the animation itself will be designed for simplicity, meant to be short segments that loop into themselves for easy repeated viewing.

Below are some concept sketches of what the visuals of these animations can look like.
